Questions about the calculator
How accurate is the fleet EV savings estimate?
It is a transparent estimate based on your inputs and published averages. Every default and its source is listed under "How we calculated this", and you can replace each one with your own figures.
Are prices net or gross?
All prices are net of VAT, because companies reclaim VAT on fuel, electricity and vehicles.
What is the THG quota?
In Germany, owners of electric vehicles can sell the greenhouse-gas reduction their EV achieves to quota-obligated fuel companies each year. The payout varies with the market.
How do you suggest the number of chargers?
We work out how much energy each vehicle needs from the depot per working day and how long it stays parked. If an 11 kW or 22 kW AC wallbox can refill it in that time, we suggest one per vehicle; otherwise vehicles share 50 kW DC chargers.
